SFLC Summer Playgroups

Summer Session: July 13 to August 21, 2026

**Most summer playgroups will NOT require registration in advance.**

Mondays

  • 9:30am - 10:30am, (REGISTRATION REQUIRED) School Readiness Group, 3-5 years old. West Branch, Somerville Public Library, 40 College Avenue
  • 11:00am - 12:30pm, (DROP IN) Discover and Learn. Birth - 5 years old. Lexington Park, 45 Lexington Avenue
  • 2:00 - 3:30pm, (DROP IN) Discover and Learn. Birth - 5 years old. Hodgkins-Curtin Park, 113 Holland Avenue
  • 3:00 - 4:30pm, (DROP IN) Nepali Group. Birth - 5 years old. The Growing Center, 22 Vinal Avenue 

Tuesdays

  • 9:30 - 11:00am, (DROP IN) Discover and Learn. Birth - 5 years old. Deanna Cremin Playground, 59 Otis Street
  • 1:00pm - 3:00pm, (DROP IN) Playtime in the Park. Birth - 5 years old. Foss Park, 49 Fellsway W. (Stories and songs will be held in English, Portuguese, and Spanish)

Wednesdays

  • 9:30 - 10:30am, (DROP IN) Discover and Learn. Birth - 5 years old. The Growing Center, 22 Vinal Avenue

Thursdays

  • 1:00 - 2:30pm, (DROP IN) Baby's First Playgroup & Parent Support Group. Expectant parents & Parents of infants - 18 months. Main Branch, Somerville Public Library, 79 Highland Avenue

Fridays

  • 9:30 - 11:00am, (DROP IN) Movement & Games. Birth - 5 years old. Nunziato Park & Field, 7 Putnam Street
  • 2:30 - 4:00pm, (DROP IN) Discover and Learn. Birth - 5 years old. The Growing Center, 22 Vinal Avenue.
