Two days a week, we have a uAspire College Affordability Advisor at the high school to work with seniors and their families on all aspects of the financial aid process. The Advisor helps students brainstorm affordable college options, complete financial aid applications, send follow up documentation to schools, compare financial aid packages to make a good financial decision, complete college enrollment steps (regarding financial aid), answer general financial aid questions, and more!

In the fall, uAspire sends College Affordability Advisors to SHS to do presentations for all seniors on the college financial aid process.

In the spring, uAspire does presentations for all juniors on the college financial aid process.

uAspire hosts a financial aid completion event for SHS seniors in the fall.

uAspire attends our Post HS Planning Night for seniors and families to explain financial aid.

uAspire attends our College & Career Day to explain financial aid to all families (including families of students in grades 6, 7, and 8).

Somerville High School is committed to helping students and families of all backgrounds and income-levels find affordable ways to higher education!
