Free Developmental Screening
Are you concerned about your child's development?
The Somerville Public Schools conducts preschool screenings for children 3 to 5 years old who live in Somerville. These screenings check a child’s development and help identify children who may need further evaluation for special education services. Participation in the screening process is free and optional for parents.
These screenings provide an opportunity for families to ensure their children receive the support they need for a successful early learning experience. Screenings are held a few times during the school year at the Capuano Early Childhood Center.
