Adult Basic Education @ SCALE!
Welcome to SCALE! We are thrilled that you are looking to improve your life through education.
SCALE is a supportive place where we have the best teachers, materials, and technology to help you achieve your educational goals. Adult Basic Education classes at SCALE focus on improving students' skills in reading, writing, social studies, science, and math so that you will be prepared to pass the HiSET exam (the high school equivalency test) and to enter college. We help students achieve their dreams and become role models for their families and their communities! We offer morning and evening classes.

Orientation
You must attend an orientation to become an ABE student at SCALE.
At orientation we will review what SCALE has to offer, answer questions, and give assessments in reading, writing, and math so that we can place students in the class that is right for them. Orientations are 90 minutes long. After orientation, students are put on our waitlist and placed in class as soon as there is an opening.
All SCALE classes are free.
To sign up for an orientation, please call the main office at 617-629-5500.
