Walking and Riding to School

Somerville participates in the Safe Routes to School Program to increase student safety traveling to school. The Capuano map can be used as a tool for families to develop walking routes to school. Note that the map does not account for crossing guard absences or short-term construction that could impact sidewalk or street safety. Parents and guardians should always consider what may work best for their family.
