Happy New Year! We are excited to share that the City of Somerville’s Office of Immigrant Affairs in partnership with the Somerville Asian Family Network is hosting the City’s very first Lunar New Year fest on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the East Somerville Community School from 2:30-4:30pm. To recognize and celebrate the various communities that observe Lunar New Year, the fest will feature a variety of fun engagements including a Chinese shadow play, arts and crafts table, poster displays of families capturing how they celebrate the Lunar New Year, and an author talk with Vincent Yee (Clara Wu book series).
