Somerville families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of family fun as the City of Somerville kicks off the 2020 Census. The afternoon includes free food and games, craft making activities, and more, as well as support in completing the census online. The Census determines funding for schools, healthcare, transportation, infrastructure, multilingual programs, senior programming, food security, fire and public safety, and more. When you count, you help ensure our community gets the resources it needs to support all our families. The Census process is easy and safe. Between March 12-20, Somerville residents will receive an invitation to complete the Census. You can respond online, by phone, or by mail. Fill out the Census when you receive the invitation to prevent any follow-up calls or visits, or join the fun at the Family Census Fair to connect with friends and complete the Census.
