Who? For Somerville students of Asian descent, inclusive of adoptees and multiracial children, and the adults who love and care for them!

What? Participants will be invited to respond to topics such as:
—What are the ways in which you have felt physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe living in Somerville? Has this changed?
—What has made you feel supported within Somerville Public Schools? Is there anything SPS could do to help you feel more seen and supported?
—What could be needed now—and in the future—to address anti-Asian hate and celebrate Asian/Asian American heritage here in Somerville?

When? We will have three opportunities over the summer for families to meet and share stories. They are Wednesday, June 16th, Wednesday, July 21st, and Wednesday, August 25th. All times are from 7:00-8:30pm.

Why? To build up a network of Somerville families with children of Asian descent, to help advocate for the needs of Asian American students and their families.
