Student Musicians and performers Shine During Winter Concerts
December was a busy month of performances for the Somerville Public Schools Music Department. Performances included: SHS Jazz Band, the Highlander Theatre Company student musical "Into the Woods," the All City Middle School Ensembles, the Kennedy School K–3 and 4–8 concerts, the Argenziano PK–4 and 5–8 concerts, Somerville High School Winter Concert, Winter Hill School K–3 and 4–8 concerts, and the Healey School 3–8 concert.
The concerts were filled with joyful, active music making. Students enjoyed performing the new musical skills they'd learned for community and family members.
